41 Keysferry Street McDonough, GA | McDonough, Newborn Photography Studio

So today happened….Even though we made the move from 34 Atlanta Street to 41 Keysferry Street over the summer, the move and the set up was a process, and well then came busy season…. Today with some of our family, a few of our best friends, The City Of McDonough Administrator, and the sweet ladies of the Main Street McDonough Program we had our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the studio.

 

Some of you may not know, but the studio now shares space with my insanely talented husband Chris, owner of The Door Guy.  It houses his Garage Door show room, so if you are in need of any garage door needs be sure to check him out.  It’s been an experience to have this space together and to watch how both of our dreams and business have grown into what they are now.

 

We started this process in July, I tried really hard to embrace CHANGE..that is very hard for me, but this move is proving to be the best decision and all laid out by God.  We are super excited to be on the square of McDonough, in a town that I LOVE and grew up in, and in a place that I can see growth and potential.  Below I’m going to show you a few pictures of the studio and a short video of our process of getting it to where it is now.  Come see me sometime…..

Charlotte quickly became known as the “Baby Blossom” Bonus points for me that her Mom was a HUGE Blossom fan when she was younger, so not on purpose but subconsciously I channeled my inter Blossom.  She rocked this pose and I’m super excited to share this with you.

DLB Studios..3 years later | McDonough, GA Newborn photographer studio

I haven’t shared new pictures of the studio here and it wasn’t until I was doing some work not he blog that I noticed the growth in the studio.  Well not that it took the blog to show me the growth, but to see the changes that have taken place in the studio over the past 3 years makes my eyes a little leaky…. <3

On March 10, 2013 the sign went out front of the studio and I can vividly remember standing there crying because it seemed like a huge journey had finally happened.  I was so excited to share everything with everyone and thought that I have finally arrived.  Seeing the pictures of what my little studio looked like when I opened compared to now is just mind blowing.  Just incase you need a reminder.

Here is the inside when I opened.

After 3 years of working and changing and making decisions and steps for my business and moving primarily  to maternity photography, birth photography, and newborn photography, I’m so excited to share with you the inside of the studio now.  I feel like now it SCREAMS my heart and my brand. Enjoy a little piece of my heart and this labor of love!!

Taylor | McDonough, GA Newborn Photographer

Let me introduce you to Taylor.  Taylor’s story touched my heart and brought a person into my life at the right time.  Her Mommy was hand picked to be Taylor’s Mommy trough the gift of adoption.  Chai is an amazing God led woman that just makes you want to spend time with her, to this day I still hear her words of “God didn’t bring me this far to drop me off now” I will forever hold that dear to my heart because in the way that God operates it was what I needed to hear at the right time.

Taylor wins the award for the BEST HAIR!!! I wanted to keep her, but given the journey to have her already the odds were slim.

Taylor’s nursery is decorated in gray, white and yellow.  These are sure to go very well hanging on her walls.

And talk about Neutral loving goodness.  I love all the creams, and earthy tones of her session.

Evan | McDonough | Covington, GA Newborn Photographer

Ashley and I consulted together to come up with the perfect customized set ups for our session.  Working together with the parents is another way to offer a full service newborn session to each of my clients.  Adding personal touches adds value and sentiment to each session, providing that parents can come and relax in full confidence knowing that their baby is being loved like my own.  Each of these custom newborn photography set ups call to my heart and make me oh so happy.  Evan013Evan005Evan004Evan003
